Arisen DKP (AP) Rules (submitted by pasanine at 11:07am PDT) Loot Rules and Conduct while Raiding with Arisen: Arisen uses a DKP system of awarding Raid Loot and Guild Items. Points (known internally as AP- Arisen Points) are awarded for PvP Raids and PvE Raids based on Time and/or Named Kills. AP may also be awarded for donations of certain trade skill, Farming Events, or raid equipment to help further the guilds goals. Arisen recruits do earn points if they attend raids, however they are not able to bid until they become a Full Member. See Recruit Rules Below. Raid Slots are based on First Come basis and those who are at the meet point will be invited to the raid first. If a Class Raid Slot is filled up then those extra member will have to wait in standby till the raid is completed. Each member who was their first and was denied an invite because their class slots were full will get, in order, invites for the open slots and any left open slots from other classes. In some cases however some members may be denied slots due to Class/Talent Builds and/or not meeting the requirements for the raid. If Issues arise over who and what gets invited then and an officer consensus can not be reached the Raid Leader can evoke the AP Leader Method to determine who will attend the raid that night. AP Leader's (members with the most total AP) will be invited in order of Total AP within their class. Open slots and left over class slots will be given out to those members with the most total AP not based on their class but overall. It is the philosophy of the guild that every member has a fair chance to gain from the work of the whole. Those who participate gain more and those who participate less gain less. The goal of the Arisen is to outfit a small roster of members so that everything gained is a boon to the outcome to the guilds future. Events are scheduled in advance and tend to stick to the weekly raid layout plan. We try to schedule events to take place not only the week but during the weekend. Each member is responsible to know what Raid Instance Save they are on and know when their next Run (if any) will be next. Since there is a short timer on Boss Mob and their Corpse Arisen has elected to use a Closed Bidding system. Closed Bidding will only take place when the Raid is Full Arisen and only on Blue+ Items. Here is a short description of how it works. While on a Raid the guild just killed a boss mob who dropped 3 items. Item #1 –Mage only – Bind of Pickup (BoP) Item #2 –No Class Restrictions – Bind on Pickup (BoP) Item #3 – Trinket – No Class Restrictions – Bind when Equipped (BoE) Since the 3rd item can be looted and carried around without binding it to a member the Raid loot officer will loot the item and it will be dealt with after the raid is complete for the sake of the loot timer of the corpse. If that item is less then Blue Quality it will be banked and sold. Since the First Item is Class Restricted a Closed bid will take place with 1 round of re-bids. Loot officer announces the item in /raid and asks for Bids. Mages who wish to bid on the item then /whisper their bid to that officer. Members can only bid their available AP as noted on the guild DKP webpage (not what they might have earned that night of raiding ONLY what has been booked into the database). Once the officer asks for Bids he/she will let 30seconds pass and then announce in /raid the item again and that bidding is closing. Then he/she will announce the item and that bids are closed. If the Officer only got 1 bid then the Officer would announce the winner, the item, and how much they bid for it in /guild. If the officer got 2+ bids on the item then the officer would announce the Item and what the High Bid was and ask for 1 more round of bids. After about 30 seconds the officer will announce that bidding is closed and then announce the winner. If 2 members happen to bid the same amount on the second round then a random will be called for, with the winner of the random getting the item for the amount of AP that they tied with. The Second Item will be handled a bit different. Since its open to all classes there might be many bids on said item. For the sake of the corpse timer there will be no second round of bidding. The Loot Officer will announce the item and that he/she is taking bids. Then after about 30 seconds has passed they will announce the item and that they are closing the bidding. Then after about another 10-30 seconds they will announce the item and that bidding is closed on it. The winner will be the member who /whispered the highest bid to the officer. The officer will then announce who the Winner was, what item and how much they won it for in /guild. Here is a Example of the above Looting and Bidding of those items: Loot Officer /raid Now Taking Bids on [Robe of Mageness] Bob /w Loot Officer 3AP Ken /w Loot Officer 2 AP Loot Officer /raid Now Taking Bids on [Robe of Mageness] – Closing Sara /w Loot Officer 3AP Loot Officer /raid Now Taking Bids on [Robe of Mageness] – Closed Loot Officer /raid Now Taking Bids on [Robe of Mageness] – 3AP Ken /w Loot Officer 4AP Loot Officer /raid Now Taking Bids on [Robe of Mageness] – 3AP – Closing Loot Officer /raid Now Taking Bids on [Robe of Mageness] – 3AP – Closed Loot Officer /g Grats Ken on your [Robe of Mageness] for 4AP Ken can now loot his item! Any Member who loots an item that has not been bid on or distributed will be Removed from the Guild and a game ticket opened for a Game Master to take action. All Guild Event items are considered Guild Property until such items are looted by or disrupted by the Raid Leader, Loot Officer, or Guild Banker. Other Rules about AP – Raiding and Bidding Item Type: Grey items: Round robin looting on most raids. This allows members to collect junk loot to offset the cost of armor repairs. This however is not a guarantee that every raid member will get items during the raid. Master Looter Rule: When a Raid is set to Master looter it means that all loot will go to the Guild Bank. This is to offset potions, repair bots, and other raiding costs. White Items: Round robin looting on most raids. This allows members to collect junk loot to offset the cost or armor repairs. However if the Raid Leader and or Loot Officer declare certain trade skill items to be handed over then each member is responsible to collect said items and hand them over to the loot officer or guild bank at the end of the raid. Certain Items may be collected by a trade skill elder at the raid so he/she can produce items as the raid progresses or simply to make collecting the items easier. Master Looter Rule: When a Raid is set to Master looter it means that all loot will go to the Guild Bank. This is to offset potions, repair bots, and other raiding costs. Green Items (Uncommon): Bind on Equipped (BoE) will Greed randomed on as the raid goes on using the ingame popup Loot/Random window. Everyone can random. Once you have won 1 green item (Either BoP or BoE) then you should pass on all Green Popup Loot/Random Windows. If everyone passes on a item that means that everyone has won 1 item each. These unclaimed leftover items will be donated to the guild bank. Bind on Pickup (BoP) will be randomed on by those as the loot window comes up by those who will wear as an upgrade. If no member at the raid needs the green item as an upgrade then loot officer will loot said item or assign the looting of the item to an enchanter on the raid to disenchant. Any Member who loots without winning the random or loots but does not use as an upgrade will be charged up to 5x the AP value of the raid for said item. Repeated looting of green items will result in Raid Suspension and/or Guild Removal. Please Look before randoming, on BoP to make sure you will USE IT! All Greens that are not used for upgrades, Greed Randomed on or passed on at the end of the raid will go to the Guild Bank to be sold, Auctioned off to the membership at a later date, or disenchanted. Master Looter Rule: When a Raid is set to Master looter it means that all loot will go to the Guild Bank. This is to offset potions, repair bots, and other raiding costs. Blue Items (Rare): AP loot Rules will be used to determine the awarding of these items. Any member who loots without first bidding and then winning the item as announced by the Loot/Bid Officer will be suspended from Raids and/or Guild Removed. Purple Items (Epic): AP loot Rules will be used to determine the awarding of these items. Any member who loots without first bidding and then winning the item as announced by the Loot/Bid Officer will be suspended from Raids and/or Guild Removed. Orange Items (Legendary): AP loot Rules will be used to determine the awarding of these items. Any member who loots without first bidding and then winning the item as announced by the Loot/Bid Officer will be suspended from Raids and/or Guild Removed. Red Items (Artifact): AP loot Rules will be used to determine the awarding of these items. Any member who loots without first bidding and then winning the item as announced by the Loot/Bid Officer will be suspended from Raids and/or Guild Removed. Spells, Recipes, Plans, and Patterns: All Spells, Recipes, Plans, Patterns that are dropped while on a Guild Raid will be collected by the Loot Officer or Raid Leader. Tradeskill Elders get first call on any Recipes, Plans or Patterns that might drop. If that Tradeskill Elder already has or one is not present then the Raid Leader will declare the item Banked or open depending on the Quality of the item. However if the Plan, Recipe, or Pattern is BoP then all members of that tradeskill may random IF the tradeskill elder passed or is not present. Any Items not claimed will be sent to the bank to be stored for other members or sold off if they are low in skill level. Bidd Passing: Members that Bid then win and then refuse the item will be charged the AP and the Item will go to the next winner for the amount they bid. If the Next winner is actually winners, meaning more then 1 person bid the next amount down then the officer will Merit the item. Random Passing: Members that random on something they can not use or just o random will be charged AP of the item even if they can’t win. Random Spam will not be tolerated. Fixing Bids: Members found Fixing Bids (talking to other members and finding out who is bidding and then working out a deal to get the item for less) will have their bidding privileges suspended for an undetermined amount of time up to removal from the guild. AP Lookups: Members that do not know what their AP total is for the day or don’t take the time to look it up prior to the raid and then make a bid to the loot officer of “All my AP” will have their bid ignored. This slows down the whole process. AP Bidding Mistakes: In a Rush Bid there is room for mistakes, as such if a Loot Officer missed a bid that would have won the item and the item was awarded to another member and that member looted the item before the loot officer could correct the error then the next drop of the item will go to that member for his bid amount if that member wants to elect that option at the time of the next drop (the member might not have the AP to bid on it when it next drops thus it’s a elect at the time of drop HOWEVER once the item drops again and that member passes or cannot bid on it they loose the privilege). This is why the Raid Leader or person Taking the Bids must announce the Winner in Guild Chat prior to awarding the item. This helps everyone become aware of any issues quickly and hopefully before the item is handed over to the announced winner. Item Merit: Certain Items may have merit status put on them. If such an item drops, the officers will announce that it’s a Merit Drop and Announce which member won it. All Merit Drops cost 0AP and are given to members who will best use the item for the betterment of the Guild and the Raid. Such items might be Spells, Plans, or Recipes. Armor Type Protection: Since each level of Armor wearer can wear lesser armor types (downgrade) there will be Armor protection when bidding on items that are not class restricted. Leather+ Wearers can not bid on Cloth items Mail+ wearers can not bid on Cloth or Leather items Plate + wearers can not bid on Cloth, Leather, or Mail items. This is to ensure that our weakest armor wearers get Upgrades they need to keep up with the higher level of hps, ac and resists needed. Class Sets Protection: Class Sets that do not denote a restricted class to them (as defined here: http://www.arisenguild.com/forum/viewto ... 20type.%20 Items with No Bids: Items that drop that are Bind On Pickup (BoP) that receive no bids will have 3 options. 1) If there is time the item will be open to Downgrade Bidding (armor wearers one level below their type) 2) If there is no time the Loot Officer will Loot and Vendor or the Guild enchanter will loot it and disenchant it. 3) If there is a Recruit on the raid the item can be merited to them. Junk Loot: All items that drop on guild sponsored events are the property of the guild until they are distributed to members. This includes "junk" items such as meats and other trade skill items, and other assorted Grey Items. If at the end of a raid a member would like some of the trade skill items, that member should contact the raid leader or Guild Banker who will distribute them to those who need them. Only the Raid Loot Officer and appointed Group Leaders should be looting. Recruit Rules: Since Recruits are limited to only earning AP while raiding their ability to gain gear is greatly lowered. There are several reasons for this one of which is to limit the loot and scoot guild hoppers. Recruits however do gain Points to bid with when they become a member. If there is an item that is going to be sharded that is considered an upgrade for a recruit then the recruit needs to state so prior to the item be sharded. Its up to the Raid Leader to set an AP amount for that item (typically 1AP for Blue and 3AP for Purple). A Recruit however can not go more then -3AP in debt. If a Recruit has a Negative AP status then they cannot win or loot anymore items till they raid more. This can be overruled by the raid leader as he sees fit. If 2 or more recruits can use said item then a random is called for. |
